Partnering with Local University

On May 5, Ty Bobit accepted an award from the California State University, Long Beach, Department of Journalism & Mass Communication for BBM’s generous contribution to the school’s Beach Byline magazine and the Bobit Scholarship. For the past four years BBM has donated the printing for the Beach Byline, and for many years has provided a scholarship for an outstanding magazine or newspaper student in need. This year’s scholarship was for $1000 and went to Isabelle Noack, an international student.
