Every industry has its awards… the pinnacle of achievement, the coveted prize toward which everyone strives. Actors want to get their hands on an Oscar. Writers seek the Pulitzer. In magazine publishing, it’s the Maggie Award. The Maggies are presented annually to consumer and trade magazines by the Western Publishers Association. Bobit Business Media has won many Maggie Awards for outstanding achievement in editorial content, design, and general excellence, including the 2009 Gold Award to NAILS Magazine for Best Overall Trade Publication.
NAILS Magazine Wins a Maggie for “Best How-To” Article

On May 7, 2010, NAILS Magazine won its 23rd Maggie Award from the Western Publications Association. The magazine won for “Best How-To Article” in a trade magazine, for the article “The Nitty Gritty Guide to Marketing Your Salon,” which was published in the March 2009 issue. The article was written by Hannah Lee, Tim Crowley, Sree Roy and Judy Lessin.
